Dave is a trial lawyer who has served as counsel in over eighty jury trials and over one hundred sixty bench trials. He has also appeared in over thirty appellate arguments. Dave has taken depositions in 47 of the 50 states and has attended multiple trial advocacy programs including through the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. Dave’s extensive experience allows him to efficiently organize complex issues and determine an appropriate discovery and trial strategy for each case. Dave’s clients appreciate his straight forward approach and sense of humor.

Dave is a Partner of Pansing Hogan Ernst & Buser, LLP. Dave received his B.S.B.A at the University of Kearney and his J.D. at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. Dave has law licenses in Nebraska and Iowa. He is admitted to practice in the Federal Courts of Nebraska, Iowa and Colorado. Dave is a member of the Omaha Bar Association, Nebraska State Bar Association, Iowa State Bar Association, Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, American Board of Trial Advocates and the Nebraska Chapter of ABOTA (President 2019).
Interests and Involvement:
Dave enjoys participating in road races, 10ks, half-marathons, marathons, biathlons and triathlons. Dave has raised funding for juvenile arthritis (Joints in Motion) and Leukemia Society by participating in marathons such as the Dublin marathon and the Marine Corp marathon. Dave likes to play golf, run, swim and workout in his free time. Dave is an avid sports fan, especially of football, basketball and baseball and enjoys attending sporting events around the country.
